Ask better questions
AI has all the answers. The hard part is asking the right questions. Assume alpha decay. Never stop stress-testing. “I have a strategy, I’m set for life” is how you go stale.
If people feel like their life is ending, they’ll sell you something for a penny that’s worth a million. A falling asset doesn’t bounce because you need it to. It bounces after panic is done — often after you’ve already lost the money.
There is no such thing as value. There’s only the moment. If someone needs out at any cost, you get destroyed.
The moment I’m in a trade, I’m looking to get out. I’m watching for the blow-up, not the rev-up.
It’s not the strategy. It’s the personality. Don’t force yourself to be something you’re not. The number-one rule of trading isn’t a setup — it’s refusing to trade someone else’s temperament.
